I'm one of Garliner's trained myofunctional/speech paths from 1973. I have used this information in my career for 50 years & continue to see the wisdom of this often "missed piece of the puzzle" ignored by my current SLP colleagues. What a shame. Shame on you ASHA!

Such book is important in the field of Orthodontics

My name is SHADI AL NASHEF, I'm from Syria I am an orthodontist, live in germany and I work this time in Mainz Univercity, Dentistry collage, Department of Orthodontic I make a research about a new training's applience for treating the myofunctional problems such as toungue thrust, lip incompetent,... and I need such book because the auther is the first man who has spoken in this area. And he has also developed a method to test the muscle's activity ( myoscanner ) and the only copy which is present in germany is in a german language, and I find many troubles in understanding all ideas in german. so would you please help me in finding this book .

Forgotten piece of the puzzle!

it amazes me that myofunctional disorder syndrome has somehow been forgotten by the dental profession. As this book form 1976 shows. It's sad. Thankfully this time exists to open the eyes of those lucky few who get to read it. I know that my patients will be treated better because of it.
